响应国家“一带一路，经略海洋”，“新旧动能转换”战略，真正实现陆铁联运、铁海联运无缝对接，将港口功能延伸至内陆，启动“济宁内陆港—青岛港多式联运”项目，2019年4月9日，“金乡大蒜号”全国首个国际集装箱冷链班列正式开通。目前已与MSK MCC HSD COSCO 达成良好的合作关系。
